The Climate Choir Movement

Saturday 20th June:  final plans for our Church of England rewilding performance,
We will be meeting at New Road Baptist Church in Bonn Square at 11am to rehearse. Jo will be there from 10.45 in case anyone coming from further afield is early. There are loos etc. in the church.
  • Just before 12 we’ll head over to the University Church (St Mary’s) on the High Street. We’ll sing and film inside the church and will then probably also sing / take photos outside in Radcliffe Square. We’re really grateful to St Mary’s who have welcomed us with open arms and say they fully support the rewilding campaign.
  • Finally, at 12.45-ish we’ll head over to Christ Church Meadows and will find a place to sing there / take photos (with the Cathedral in the background) at 1pm.
  • We’ll be all done by 1.30, and I know some of you have other things to shoot off to, but for those who don’t I’m suggesting we all bring a picnic lunch to eat in the meadows after we’ve finished. It’s going to be a lovely day.
  • Remember to wear your Climate Choir t-shirt if you have one!
Also, just advance notice that we decided at our rehearsal on Saturday that we’ll make this action our final Climate Choir outing for the summer. That means there will be NO rehearsals in July or August, but we’ll meet again on September 12th for our usual monthly rehearsal.
